Requires any Sheriff’s Office employee to perform as a process server, repossessor, participant in eviction or bill collection or any other off-duty employment activity in which Sheriff’s Office authority may tend to be utilized to collect money or merchandise.
Assists in any manner in the case preparation for the defense in any criminal action or proceeding
Results in dual compensation. No deputy may receive compensation from the county and an off-duty employer for the same time period. It is the Deputy’s responsibility to ensure that he/she does not receive compensation from an off-duty employer and the county for the same time period.
Requires off-duty law enforcement employment outside the boundaries of Tuscaloosa County.
Requires performing tasks other than those of a law enforcement nature while in uniform.
Involves employment directly for, or on behalf of, an establishment that is licensed for or provides adult entertainment.
Involves the employment of a deputy in an establishment that the primary function is serving alcoholic beverages.
