
Prohibited Off Duty Employment:
Deputies may engage in off-duty employment subject to the following limitations. However, deputies are not to work in external employment that threatens the professional status or dignity of law enforcement as a profession. Some examples of such employment include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Employment whose principal business is to sell pornographic books or magazines, sexual devices or videos, or that otherwise provide entertainment or services of a sexually-oriented nature.
· Employment whose principal business is the sale of alcoholic beverages.
· Employment at a gambling establishment.
· Employment at businesses where posing or dancing nude or semi-nude is conducted.
